Privacy Policy

At Ez'Energy, we take your privacy very seriously. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used and what your rights are.
1. Data collected
Ez'Energy only collects the data you enter during your check-ins: • Mental energy score (1-5) • Physical energy score (1-5) • Mood (1-5) • Optional contextual tags (coffee, exercise, work, poor sleep, meditation, screens, walk, nap, friends, alcohol) • Optional free-form notes • Timestamp of each check-in If you enable the Apple Health connection, the app also imports your sleep data: • Total sleep duration • Sleep stages (deep, REM, light) if available • Night start and end times • Measurement source (Apple Watch, iPhone) This sleep data is stored exclusively on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can disable this connection at any time in the app settings. The application also stores your preferences (notifications, reminders, theme) and your subscription status (free or premium). No name, email, phone number, address, geographical location or personal identifier is collected.
2. Data storage
All your data is stored locally on your iPhone in a SQLite database encrypted by the iOS system. No data is hosted on our servers. iCloud backup (Premium feature) copies your database to your own iCloud Drive space, protected by Apple's encryption and under your exclusive control. We have no access to your iCloud backups.
3. Data sent to the AI
To generate your daily insights, tips and weekly reports, aggregated and anonymous data is sent to the Mistral AI API: • Average scores (mental, physical, mood) • Trends (up/down/stable) • Breakdown by time slot (morning/afternoon/evening) • Correlations with tags • Dominant mood • Sleep duration and stages (if Apple Health is enabled) No name, email, location, personal note or identifier is sent — we simply do not collect this data. The API key remains server-side (EAS Hosting) and is never included in the application.
4. Mistral AI — AI Provider
Mistral AI is a French company whose servers are hosted in Europe (Azure EU). • Compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) • Data sent is not used to train their models • No user profile is created from your data For more information: https://mistral.ai/fr/privacy
5. Third-party services
Ez'Energy uses the following third-party services: • Mistral AI — Insight generation (aggregated data only, see section 3) • RevenueCat — In-app subscription management (subscription status and Apple transaction identifier, no payment information stored by Ez'Energy) • Apple iCloud — Optional database backup (Premium) • Expo Application Services (EAS) — API Route proxy hosting and application updates • Apple Health (HealthKit) — Optional sleep data import (read-only, no data is written to Apple Health) No analytics, tracking, advertising or social media services are integrated into the application.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent or share any personal data with third parties for commercial, advertising or profiling purposes. The only data leaving your device are the aggregated summaries sent to Mistral AI for insight generation (see section 3) and the transaction information transmitted to RevenueCat/Apple for subscription management.
7. Notifications
All notifications are scheduled and processed locally on your device. Ez'Energy does not use any remote push notification service. You can enable, disable or configure reminders at any time in the application settings. Notification permission is requested during initial setup and can be revoked in iOS settings.
8. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights: • Right of access — All your data is visible in the application (history, insights, reports) • Right of deletion — You can delete all your data at any time from Settings > Danger Zone > Delete all data. This action is irreversible • Right to portability — Your data can be exported in CSV or JSON format from the application • Right of rectification — You can view and verify your data in the history Uninstalling the application permanently deletes all local data.
9. Security
• Native iOS encryption (application sandbox) • API communications exclusively via HTTPS (TLS) • API key stored server-side, never accessible from the application • iCloud backups protected by Apple's end-to-end encryption
10. Minors
Ez'Energy is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent and believe your child is using the application, contact us to request data deletion.
11. Modifications
We may update this privacy policy. Changes will be published on this page with a new update date. Continued use of the application after modification constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
